  1. Please take a moment to read the following important information.  You may
  2. copy our software for your friends and evaluate our software prior to
  3. purchasing it as long as you follow our rules.  If you received this software
  4. on evaluation, then you are already benefitting from our "MacHonor" system of
  5. distribution.  We depend upon your integrity for our existence.  Many call us
  6. naive, but we choose to trust people.  If you use our software, a legal
  7. license and a contract of honor exists between you and CE Software.

  9. Our prices are reasonable, our products are superior and our update
  10. policy is terrific.  We incorporate user feedback in our programs, update
  11. packages regularly, provide newsletters and offer technical support.  Our
  12. sole source of income is from CE Software, and we appreciate knowing that
  13. our entire customer base is honorable.  Please do your best to follow the
  14. rules and show your support for user-supported software.

  16. License Agreement

  18. TO PERSONS THAT ACQUIRE OR USE THIS PACKAGE:
  19. YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE
  20. AGREEMENT PRIOR TO ACCEPTING OR USING THIS PACKAGE.  ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF
  21. ALL OR ANY PORTION OF THIS PACKAGE INDICATES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE
  22. FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.  If you do not agree with such terms and
  23. conditions, you should promptly return this package before using it to
  24. your place of purchase and your money will be refunded.

  26. CE Software grants to you, the licensee, a non-exclusive license to use
  27. the software in this package (the "Software"), under the terms and
  28. conditions stated in this Agreement.  CE Software retains title to and
  29. owns this copy and all backup copies and any proprietary rights related
  30. to the Software; you have only the limited rights granted by this Agreement.

  32. You may:
  33. 1. use the Software on more than one machine, provided there is NO 
  34.    possibility that the Software is used on more than one machine at a time.
  35.  
  36. 2. transfer this license together with the original and all copies of the
  37.    Software and its documentation, all in their entirety, to another party.
  38.    The other party must agree to be legally bound by the terms and
  39.    conditions of this Agreement. You must notify CE Software.  Upon such
  40.    transfer your license is terminated.
  41.  
  42. 3. make and distribute copies of the the main program to others provided you:
  43.     a. explain the MacHonor system and convey the spirit thereof.
  44.     b. reproduce and include the copyright notice on all copies made.
  45.     c. do not copy the printed manual or the BONUS programs or files.
  46.     d. distribute this product entirely free of all charges.

  48. Those wishing to charge a fee when distributing MacHonor products,
  49. including but not limited to copy fees & media charges, must receive
  50. written permission from CE Software.
  51.  
  52. If you have not yet licensed the use of this package, you may evaluate it
  53. for up to 45 days, after which time you must either license it or erase
  54. all copies.
  55.  
  56. TERM:
  57. This Agreement is effective until terminated.  Licensee may terminate it
  58. at any time by destroying the Software together with all copies in any
  59. form.  It will also terminate if you fail to comply with any term or
  60. condition of this Agreement.  You agree upon such termination to destroy
  61. the Software and all copies in any form.
  62.  
  63. GENERAL:
  64. The laws of the State of Iowa shall govern this Agreement.  The invalidity
  65. or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement shall not affect the
  66. other provisions hereof.  This Agreement constitutes the entire and
  67. exclusive agreement, and supersedes any and all prior agreements and
  68. proposals, between CE Software and Licensee with regard to the Software
  69. and any other items contained in this package.
